According to the report of the international group of Fars news agency, a source close to the Hamas movement said that negotiations with the Zionist regime with the mediation of Qatar regarding the establishment of a three-day ceasefire in exchange for the release of 12 prisoners, half of them are Americans, it is ongoing.
Earlier, “Abu Obeidah”, the spokesperson of the Hamas movement, said that the number of Zionist prisoners in Gaza is close to 250 people, 200 of them are with al-Qassam and the rest are with others. are resistance groups.
The said source said that progress in these negotiations depends on the duration of the ceasefire and the situation in the north of the Gaza Strip, which is witnessing extensive military operations.
According to the AFP report, the said source added that Qatar is waiting for the response of the Zionist regime.
Earlier, the media of the Zionist regime reported that almost an agreement was reached to achieve a three-day ceasefire.
Zionist television also reported that during the three-day ceasefire, 15 to 20 prisoners with foreign citizenships will be released.
