According to the Fars news agency reporter in Tashkent, Kazakh Prime Minister Alikhan Ismailov, who arrived in Tashkent to participate in the 16th meeting of the Economic Cooperation Organization, met with the President of Uzbekistan and emphasized on bilateral cooperation.
Ismailov said in this meeting: Today, the relations between the two countries are a shining example of strategic partnership based on trust and mutual understanding.
He noted. Kurd: Tashkent is one of the biggest trading partners of Kazakhstan. Our countries account for about 70% of the total trade of Central Asia. At the end of last year, trade turnover increased by 30% and reached the milestone of 5 billion dollars for the first time.
He added that both countries are actively working to increase mutual trade to reach They are trying to spend 10 billion dollars.
The president of Uzbekistan also noted in this meeting that the strategic agreements between the two countries are implemented systematically. This also applies to cooperation in trade, transportation and water industry.
Mirziyaev said: All existing issues between the two countries are moving forward. I think there are no unsolved issues. In terms of trade, the projects we agreed on with the President of Kazakhstan will help us reach new milestones. Bilateral cooperation will be used.
