The Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement strongly criticized the meeting of Arab and Islamic countries in support of Gaza yesterday, saying that this statement was as if it was not issued by the 57 countries related to Palestine. |
According to the report of Fars News Agency International Group, today (Sunday), the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement reacted to the final statement of the meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in solidarity with Gaza and strongly criticized it.
The Organization of Islamic Cooperation held a meeting yesterday in Riyadh – the capital of Saudi Arabia – by inviting 57 Arab and Islamic countries to support and declare solidarity with the Palestinian people.
Among the most important clauses of the final statement of this meeting, the condemnation of the crimes of the Zionist regime emphasized the need to lift the blockade of Gaza and send humanitarian aid to Gaza.
Islamic Jihad in response to this statement emphasized Kurdish: “The words “condemnation“, “demand“ and “request“ which The final statement [of the meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation] was filled with it, as if the statement was issued by an unrelated organization that had nothing to do with the killing of the Palestinian people in Gaza and the West Bank, and not from the statement of the meeting of 57 countries, in This statement made it seem that these countries do not have anything, nor do they have the power to do anything except requests and demands.” It was one of the Arab and Islamic countries’ duties and to escape from the duty of defending the Arab and Islamic national security and giving up on Palestine and its people against the Zionist regime and its Western supporters. At the same time, Eslami expressed his surprise at the contents of the final statement of the Arab and Islamic countries because it emphasized the Arab peace initiative. In this regard, Islamic Jihad reminded that the prerequisite for peace with Tel Aviv and establishing normal relations with them is to end the occupation of all Palestinian land and Arab countries, especially that some “Arab regimes are hastily moving towards normalizing relations with this regime”. .
This resistance group went on to point out: “Maybe if the Arab and Islamic countries that have normalized their relations with the [Zionist] regime, their relations like some Latin American countries which have no connection with Palestine, its people, Arabism and Islam, this statement would gain some credibility”. The Arab and Islamic countries convey this message to the Islamic Ummah that these systems are not capable of protecting the people and defending the Islamic sanctities, and that their people are a fat morsel against the Zionist regime and the American government.
