Axios: America has demanded an explanation from Israel for the attack on Lebanon

According to the report of the Fars International News Agency, the Axios news site, quoting American officials, reported on the phone call between the American Defense Minister Lloyd Austin and the Israeli War Minister Yoav Gallant.
According to this American official, the head of the Pentagon, in consultation with Gallant, has expressed his concern about the developments related to the Lebanese border with the occupied territories, and asked the Israeli Minister of War regarding the escalation of tensions in the northern borders and Israeli airstrikes. He asked Lebanon for an explanation.
This report added: In this phone call, Austin asked Israel to avoid actions that may lead to an all-out war between Israel and Hezbollah.
Israeli War Minister also informed Austin that Israel’s policy does not require opening a second front in Lebanon.
Axios quoted the same American source as adding Some officials of the US President Joe Biden’s administration are worried about Israel’s attempt to provoke Lebanon’s Hezbollah. and has given a strong warning to Hezbollah through the Lebanese authorities.
This statement was made one day after the speech of Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah, Secretary General of Lebanon’s Hezbollah.
In his speech on Saturday, Nasrallah emphasized that he will keep the border front with the invaders alive and it will increase in intensity in the coming days.
He talked about the role of the Lebanese resistance. In support of Gaza, he also said: On the Lebanese front, the operation continues from October 8th until today. Despite all preventive measures, our operations will continue. In the last week, the number of our operations has increased and the type of operations has been upgraded in terms of weapons. For the first time in the history of resistance, we used offensive drones.
