Burrell: For a long time, we have left the solution of the Palestinian issue to America

According to the report of the international group of Fars news agency, Josep Borrell, the head of the foreign policy of the European Union, in a statement on Monday, criticized the European countries for leaving the solution of the Palestinian issue to the United States and called for more participation of the Europeans in this field.

Borrell told reporters at a news conference in Brussels: “We have been absent for a long time. We have left the solutions to America, but the European Union must be more active because if we don’t find a solution, we will see an endless cycle of violence from one generation to another.” Another of his statements clarified that he explained the road map, which he said is necessary to create a lasting peace plan in Gaza.
