According to the regional office of Tasnim News Agency, “Ali Bahadri Jahormi, the spokesman of the government of the Islamic Republic of Iran, referring to the visit of the economic delegation of the Kabul government to Tehran, stated that good agreements have been made to facilitate and increase the export and import of Afghanistan through the port of Chabahar, and consultations have also been held for the 24-hour customs of the two countries.
He added: Joint committees have been established to deal with the problems of Afghan immigrants in Iran and to prevent drug trafficking.
Jahormi also said that the recent visit of the Taliban delegation headed by “Molaabd Ghani Baradar”, the economic deputy of the Kabul government, was carried out with the focus on expanding trade relations in the fields of minerals, technical services and export and import.
According to the reports, during the visit of the Afghan delegation to Tehran, five cooperation documents were signed. The previous spokesman of the Taliban had announced in December 1400 at the meeting of the economic commission of the Taliban that it was decided to increase the working hours of the customs offices of Afghanistan with Iran and Uzbekistan to facilitate trade and speed up customs affairs, and if possible, it would be 24 hours.
He said that the said decision was taken based on the request of Iran and Uzbekistan to increase the working hours of border customs with Afghanistan.
