According to the report of the international group of Fars News Agency, the Federal Court of Iraq issued a ruling today Tuesday, removing Mohammad Al-Halbousi from the presidency of this country’s parliament.
Al-Sumaria news network reported, the federal court examined the lawsuit filed by Leith al-Dilami, a member of the Iraqi parliament, against al-Halbousi, and voted for the validity of this lawsuit.
Al-Dilami, presenting documents He said that Al-Halbousi was involved in signing a contract with a foreign company whose manager was the former prime minister of the Zionist regime. One of the goals of this company is the normalization of Baghdad-Tel Aviv relations.
After this ruling, Al-Halbousi’s membership in the Iraqi parliament was canceled.
Leith Al-Dulaimi (Member of Parliament) who is the plaintiff in this case and the court also voted to end his membership said, “I respect the court’s decision. The federal court proved that he is still the guardian of the constitution and the supreme rights of the Iraqi people.” Al-Dulaimi said: Halbusi still has other cases that will bother him p class=”rtejustify”>Al-Halbousi also called it “strange” in the parliament today in response to the court’s verdict and said: “The verdict of the federal court is strange and when I am fully informed about it, I will explain it… more than five I have been the speaker of the parliament for a year and I have tried to solve the problems.
