Increasing differences between Zelensky and the Ukrainian army

Volodymyr Zelenskiy’s former adviser revealed that he has clashed with his country’s military chiefs because of his refusal to accept the stalemate of Ukraine’s counterattack against Russia.

According to the report of Fars International News Agency, “Alexey Arstovich”, former assistant of “Volodymyr Zelensky”, said that between the president of Ukraine and the senior officials of his country’s army, due to Zelensky’s refusal to accept the counter-attack of Kiev, the stalemate which he has written a lot about, a dispute has arisen.

Arstovitch, in an interview with the Spanish newspaper “El Mundo” to the recent assessment of “Valery Zalogeny”, the commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian army, that The conflict with Russia indicated a “stalemate” had been reached. This assessment later caused a wide reaction in the Western media and even according to reports created “panic” among some supporters of Kiev.

Zelensky’s former adviser stated: The president and the army of Ukraine have been created. But it was Zalogeni who told the truth. Now we are in a situation where the commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian army gives one opinion about the war and the prospect of victory, and on the other hand, the president of Ukraine gives a completely different opinion. This is not a normal situation.

Zelensky earlier this month disagreed with Zalogeny’s assessment of Ukraine’s counterattack, although he acknowledged that Ukraine is in a “different position.”

The counter-attack of the Ukrainian army, which has been implemented against Russia since the beginning of June, has failed to achieve significant territorial gains.

Moscow has estimated that Ukraine has lost more than 90,000 of its soldiers during this counterattack.

“Sergei Shoigu”, the Russian Defense Minister, said earlier this month: “Kiev regime is losing even despite receiving new weapons from NATO.” According to Arstovich, Zelensky’s “ineffective policies” are to blame for Ukraine’s failure to make progress in the war.

He emphasized to El Mundo: “These policies are the main reason for the failure of the counterattack. They do not use the aid received from the West properly. They do not have enough competence and have reached the limit of their capacity.” and on the other hand, it has given Moscow a lot of time to strengthen its defensive positions on the front line of the war. He continued, “a chain of reasons” contributed to the failure of the counteroffensive, one of which was Zelensky’s excessive attention to the battle for the city of Bakhmut in Donbass, which was captured by Russian troops.

Zelensky’s ex-adviser also called for Ukrainian presidential elections to be held next year and claimed that the entry of new figures into the Ukrainian government would provide a better opportunity to improve the situation. At the beginning of this month, Zelenskiy opposed the holding of elections in Ukraine due to the fact that the military regime is still in place in this country.

Arstovich also announced his desire to run in the presidential elections of Ukraine. And he said, Zalogeny has the potential to become “the only real challenger” to Zelensky.
