According to the Fars news agency reporter in Tashkent, Uzbekistan and Turkey signed a memorandum of understanding in the field of higher education within the framework of the second educational meeting held in Samarkand city.
The ceremony was held under the chairmanship of “Adel Abdurrahman F., Chairman of the Higher Education Council of the Republic of Uzbekistan” and “Erol Ozvar”, the Chairman of the Higher Education Council (YÖK) of Turkey. The presidents of about 100 universities of Turkey and Uzbekistan participated in this meeting.
Abdul Rahmanov emphasized: strategic relations between the two countries are developing rapidly, especially in the field of education, so far more than 100 contracts have been signed. Cooperation between educational institutions of Uzbekistan and Turkey has been signed.
Uzvar expressed confidence that this meeting will further strengthen relations in the field of education.
Within the framework of this meeting, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the Higher Education Council (YÖK) of Turkey and the Ministry of Science, Education and Innovation of Uzbekistan with the aim of improving bilateral cooperation in the field of higher education.
In the framework of the public meetings of the second educational meeting of Uzbekistan and Turkey in the form of B2B with the presence of the heads of more than 60 higher education institutions of the two countries, bilateral cooperation was discussed.
At the end of the document negotiations about Consolidation of cooperation between the universities of the two countries in educational and scientific fields, training of teachers and experienced staff, exchange of professors, senior experts and students, sending of teachers to short-term retraining courses, implementation of joint scientific projects and establishment of mutual cooperation in the field of technologies was signed.
