The missile attack on the suburbs of Damascus was intercepted by the Syrian Ministry of Defense

Syria’s Al-Watan newspaper reported that the country’s missile defense system has been active in the countryside of Syria and engaged with hostile targets.

Syrian sources say that this attack took place in Al-Bahdliyeh area located in the Zainabiyah area on the outskirts of Damascus. The Syrian Ministry of Defense announced in a statement that the Israeli regime targeted a number of areas around Damascus with rocket attacks from the side of the occupied Syrian Golan. The missile defense was able to intercept most of these missiles and this attack caused some material damage.
