According to the regional office of Tasnim News Agency, “Abdul Matin Qane” the spokesman of the Taliban government’s Ministry of Interior announced in a press conference: nearly 2 thousand female employees are working in various departments under this ministry.
According to him, these female employees are working in the passport department, public services department, checkpoints and other offices of the Ministry of Interior of Afghanistan.
Qana said: the presence of women in the ranks of the police, especially in the service departments of the Ministry of Interior in Security and inspection departments are an urgent need. Currently, there are 1,995 female employees in the service departments of the Ministry of Interior, including the Directorate of Passports, the Directorate of Public Services and in the inspection departments.
According to “Tolua News”, female employees of the Ministry of Interior of Afghanistan also work in detective, criminal and night operations departments.
