The White House condemned Elon Musk’s comments
The White House has called and condemned the comments of Elon Musk, the owner of the X social network, as "hateful promotion of anti-Semitism". |
according to the report of the international group Tasnim news, White House spokesman Andrew Bates in a conversation with reporters, Elon Musk criticized the richest man in the world and the owner of X social network for an anti-Semitic tweet.
Musk in this tweet, entitled “The real truth” accused Jews of undermining Western civilization by supporting immigration. We condemn in the strongest possible terms anti-Semitism and racist hatred, which is against our fundamental values as Americans.
According to this report After Elon Musk published a post on the X channel, saying that white people in Western countries are being “replaced” by a large number of immigrants from southern countries, he provoked a wave of criticism against him.
Accordingly, the conspiracy theory that Jews are responsible for paving the way for this replacement by supporting immigration and replacing immigrants is the opinion of the gunman who attacked to a synagogue in Pittsburgh, killing 11 people. The attack, which took place in October 2018, was the deadliest anti-Semitic attack in American history.
This is not the first time Musk has made comments about immigration. which has been criticized by a large number of people and reflects the views of extreme right-wing extremists. He called the asylum seekers who are at risk in the Mediterranean Sea and their transfer to Europe “offensive feelings”. This is a term that is usually used to portray immigrants as hostile forces who are more intent on taking over a country than seeking asylum.
These statements are while Musk has not expressed much regret about them.
