According to the report of Fars News Agency International Group, “Brett McGurk”, the coordinator of the White House’s National Security Council for West Asian affairs, met with Prime Minister Mohammad bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani in Doha today. and the foreign minister of Qatar visited.
In this meeting, the two sides discussed the developments in the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territories.
Qatar news agency (Qena) reported that in this meeting, Al-Thani emphasized the need to intensify regional and international diplomatic efforts to achieve an immediate ceasefire and the permanent reopening of the Rafah crossing. He emphasized the purpose of guaranteeing the arrival of the humanitarian aid convoy to Gaza.
He expressed Qatar’s deep concern about the catastrophic humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip.
The foreign minister of Qatar also declares the country’s firm opposition to the repeated crimes of the Zionist regime and attacks on civilian targets, including hospitals and schools in the Gaza Strip, and considers it a dangerous action with unfortunate consequences for the security and stability of the region.
