These protests started after the interim government of Pakistan announced in a unilateral decision that a visa verification system was established at border crossings with Afghanistan to prevent illegal entry of Afghans into Pakistan. And from now on, only those passengers can pass through the Afghanistan-Pakistan crossing, who have an Afghan passport and a Pakistani visa.
Based on this decision, the movement of people from Tribes who used birth certificate and identity card since the establishment of Pakistan, will now have to use Afghan passport and Pakistani visa and other documents that were given to tribes living around the Durand Line in Afghanistan in the past as permission to cross the border to visit It was given with family and business, it has lost its validity.
Ghouthullah Achakzai, the organizer of these protests, announced that starting this evening (Monday, November 29), Chaman Road- Spin Boldek will be blocked for commercial traffic, transportation and any other traffic for an indefinite period of time. Don’t let them pass.
Protesters say that since last one month, they have raised their request to cancel travel restrictions to various departments, but they did not get a positive answer.
