Consultation between the presidents of China and France about the Gaza crisis

According to the report of Fars International News Agency, French President Emmanuel Macron and his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping had a telephone conversation on Monday evening about the Israeli war against the Gaza Strip.
When announcing this news, the Chinese Foreign Ministry said that the two sides emphasized the need to implement a two-state solution in order to end the Gaza war and the Palestinian conflict.
Based on this, the leaders of China and France considered preventing the spread of the war in the Gaza Strip as well as the worsening of the severe humanitarian crisis in this region as top priorities.
In this statement, it is emphasized that Macron and Xi described the two-state solution as the main way to solve the vicious cycle of conflict in occupied Palestine.
On Monday, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi met with diplomatic delegations of several countries. Arabi, as well as the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, asked the world to take measures as soon as possible to end the deplorable situation in the Gaza Strip. (more details)
