Consultation between the American and Omani authorities about the ceasefire in Gaza

During a trip to Muscat, the capital of Oman, the US assistant secretary of state met with the foreign minister of this country and discussed the developments in Gaza.

According to the report of the Fars News Agency International Group, US Assistant Secretary of State Barbara Leaf met with Omani Foreign Minister Badr Albusaidi in Muscat and discussed about Gaza.

Consultations about the ceasefire in Gaza are taking place while the information office of the government in Gaza announced in its latest statistics that the number of martyrs since the beginning of the war against Gaza has reached more than 13,300. 5600 of them are children and 3550 of them are women.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Oman announced in a statement that Barbara Leaf and Al-Busaidi discussed the disastrous situation in the Gaza Strip and the need for a ceasefire.

According to the “Al-Khalij Online” website, the two sides also discussed about lifting the siege of Gaza, the entry of subsistence necessities into Gaza and trying to reach an agreement for the release of hostages and detainees. And they exchanged views.

Before traveling to Muscat, Leaf visited Kuwait and met with Foreign Minister Salem Abdullah Al-Sabah and discussed the dangerous situation in the Gaza Strip.
