According to the report of Fars International News Agency, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Medvedev reacted to the recent threat of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to assassinate Vladimir Putin and said that the authorities of Kiev have so far They have repeatedly announced their intention to kill this Russian president, but they will not succeed in doing it. The target of the verbal attacks of the Ukrainian authorities is at different levels. We know them very well. They will not succeed.”
The Kremlin spokesman added: “We have no doubts that all the goals of Russia’s special military operation in Ukraine will be achieved.”
Zelensky recently made this threat in an interview with the English newspaper “Sun” in response to the journalist’s question about whether Kiev will kill Putin if he gets the right opportunity.
President of Ukraine answered this question: “There is a war now and Ukraine has every right to defend its land.”
Zelensky claimed in this interview : “Since Russia has not abandoned its intention to destroy me in any possible way, Kiev also has the right to kill Vladimir Putin because it is a matter of protecting the country.”
On Monday evening, Zelensky met with US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, who was on an unannounced visit to Ukraine. In this meeting, Austin emphasized the long-term support of Ukraine against Russia.
The United States has provided more than 40 billion dollars in security aid to Kiev since the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
The United States is by far the largest supplier. Ukraine’s militarist appeared and cut off US aid as Ukraine prepares for the second winter of war. It will deal a big blow to it.
