The President of Turkey said in a joint press conference with his Algerian counterpart: Ankara condemns the attacks of the Israeli army (Zionist regime) on the Gaza Strip. He said to civilian areas in the Gaza Strip: targeting hospitals, places of worship, schools and places that should be protected is barbaric and unconscionable.
He stated: Turkey’s priority regarding “Gaza” is to implement a permanent ceasefire and send humanitarian aid there without any obstacles.
According to Al-Quds al-Arabi newspaper, in this press conference, the President of Algeria said: “Erdogan and I have emphasized the need to try the perpetrators of the “genocide” in the Gaza Strip at the International Criminal Court in The Hague.
Abd al-Majid Teboun stated: We condemn the politics, cruel repression, genocide and forced migration of Palestinians by the Zionist regime and we want this regime to be tried in the International Criminal Court.
He considered the establishment of a Palestinian state as the only solution that guarantees peace and stability in West Asia.
Tebun emphasized the need for countries to take immediate action to stop the Zionists’ settlement process and prevent their terrorist actions against the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank of the Jordan River.
He called Algeria-Turkey relations solid and strong and said: the volume of trade between the two countries reached more than 5 billion dollars last year and Turkey is Algeria’s second trading partner. .
In this meeting, the President of Turkey also said: The two countries decided to increase the volume of their trade exchanges to more than 10 billion dollars.
