According to Fars News Agency International Group, “Politico” quoted US government officials as reporting that Washington is cautious about ending Tel Aviv’s work in Gaza. A senior American government official told this media that there is no feeling that the pause in the war will turn into a longer ceasefire. From this report, in addition, there is concern in the US government about the unintended consequences of the ceasefire agreement. According to the report, there is concern that “this (ceasefire) will give journalists wider access to Gaza and the opportunity to shed light on more of the destruction there and turn public opinion towards Israel.”
After 47 days of conflict between the Palestinian resistance and the Zionist army, this morning the two sides announced that they had reached a ceasefire agreement in Gaza for four days. The official announcement of the agreement will be when Tel Aviv’s response officially reaches Qatar. The beginning of the implementation of the ceasefire will be 24 hours after the official announcement of the agreement. According to the agreement, 50 women and children from Hamas prisoners and 150 Palestinian women and children in regime prisons will be released within four days.
