According to the report of Fars news agency’s foreign policy reporter, Hossein Amirabdollahian, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, headed a delegation to meet and talk with the Lebanese authorities and continue regional consultations following the recent developments in Gaza. He traveled to Beirut, this afternoon (Wednesday), the first of December, he met with the Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament, “Nabieh Berri”, and discussed the latest developments in the region, including the situation in Palestine and Gaza, as well as bilateral relations.
The head of the diplomatic service today and upon his arrival in Beirut and describing his trip to Lebanon He said: “Today we are in Beirut to consult with the Lebanese high officials about how to maximize the security of the region and how to achieve the rights of Palestine.” and North Africa, Nasser Kanani, the spokesperson of the diplomatic service, and Ali Asghar Khaji, the senior adviser to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Amir Abdollahian, will accompany him on this trip. They had said that Amir Abdollahian, in his trip to Beirut, will meet and talk with the Lebanese authorities, Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah, the Secretary General of Lebanon’s Hezbollah. Since the beginning of the recent crimes of the Zionist regime in Gaza and in order to stop these crimes and the necessity of sending humanitarian aid to the people of Gaza and lifting the blockade of this region, the Islamic Republic of Iran has made efforts, including in this regard, the President and the Minister of Foreign Affairs on the phone with their counterparts and influential officials talked and Amir Abdullahian wrote letters in this regard to some officials, including the Secretary General of the United Nations, and made trips to the region, New York and Geneva.
