According to the Fars News Agency reporter in Tashkent, the President of Uzbekistan, Shaukat Mirziyoyev, at the official invitation of his Azerbaijani counterpart, Ilham Aliyev, and in order to participate in the UN special meeting for the economy of the countries Central Asia under the title of “SPECA” arrived in “Baku” on a two-day trip.
The “SPECA” meeting was the first special meeting of the United Nations for the economy of Central Asian countries, which was held in the city of “Baku”. ” will be held. In this meeting, issues such as the further expansion of multilateral cooperation within the framework of the program to create a trust fund to support regional projects, the approval of a “roadmap” for the digitization of transportation corridors, the advancement of business initiatives and other issues are to be discussed.
It should be said that the SPECA program was established on March 26, 1998, in accordance with the “Tashkent” statement, with the aim of providing assistance for the expansion of economic cooperation and convergence of regional countries in the global economy.
