Kazakh official: “Astaneh” has no plans to leave the Collective Security Treaty Organization

The First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan said: "No decision has been taken regarding the withdrawal of this country from the Collective Security Treaty Organization."

According to the Fars News Agency reporter in Astana, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan “Qairat Omraf” said about the possibility of this country withdrawing from the Collective Security Treaty Organization: There are many opinions about Kazakhstan’s membership in the Collective Security Treaty Organization has it. To date, no country has officially contacted the organization to terminate its membership.

He continued: Therefore, we do not expect any changes in the composition of the Collective Security Treaty Organization. Being in such an organization is always better than being outside it.

Amraf stated: Kazakhstan has absolutely no such plan. We were from the beginning of the establishment of this organization and we believe that this action is in our interest.

First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan added that all decisions within the framework of the Collective Security Treaty Organization are made based on consensus.

He emphasized: No decision can be imposed on any country, we believe that this organization provides our interests and allows us to discuss issues of cooperation between member countries of the treaty organization. Let’s discuss collective security.
