Amir Abdullahian’s meeting with Haniyeh in Doha

According to the reporter of Fars news agency’s foreign policy group, Hossein Amirabdollahian, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, is in Doha, the second destination of his third trip to the region in the last one and a half months and after the ongoing developments in Gaza. Tonight (Thursday), December 2nd, he met with Ismail Haniyeh, the head of the political bureau of the Hamas movement.

He, who has traveled to Qatar at the head of a delegation, has already met with the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Qatar, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani. met and discussed the temporary ceasefire that is supposed to be established in Gaza for four days starting tomorrow (Friday). The foreign minister also wrote on X social network about his trip to Beirut and the developments in Gaza: In Lebanon with Mr. Nabih Berri, Prime Minister Mikati, Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah and some leaders of Hamas and Islamic Jihad met and consulted. This is the third visit of Amir Abdullahian to Qatar within the past month and a half. He had met and talked with Ismail Haniyeh in Doha on two previous trips. During this time, Haniyeh also made a trip to Tehran and met with the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution.
