The Economist: Majority of Americans support ceasefire in Gaza and Ukraine

The results of a poll show that the majority of Americans want a ceasefire in both Gaza and Ukraine.

According to Fars International News Agency, the results of a new survey show that the majority of people in the United States of America support the establishment of a ceasefire in Gaza and Ukraine.

The results of a recently published poll conducted by the Economist and the You Gov Institute show that the American public overwhelmingly supports a ceasefire in both the Ukraine and Gaza conflicts. They do.

According to “Rashatudi”, even though the number of Palestinian deaths under the influence of the Zionist regime’s attacks is much higher than the total number of people killed in the war between Russia and Ukraine. It is estimated, however, the results of the said survey show that the majority of the residents of the United States of America believe that the Zionist regime targets civilians less than Russia during the war.

According to the results of this survey, seven out of ten Americans strongly or somewhat support the establishment of a ceasefire in the war between Russia and Ukraine, and 48% of the participants in the survey strongly support the establishment of a ceasefire in Ukraine. In the meantime, only 9% of American people are against establishing a ceasefire in Ukraine and agree that the war between the two countries should continue.

In this survey, the willingness to Ending the hostilities between Hamas and the Zionist regime is less among Americans than the war in Ukraine, however, 63% of Americans support the establishment of a ceasefire between Hamas and Tel Aviv, while 20% of them are against such a result.

The people were also asked about their inferences about the military tactics used by Russia and the Zionist regime and whether their attacks were more towards military targets or whether they targeted civilians. In both cases, participants claimed that there was never an intentional attack on civilians.

In the case of Russia, between 28% of people said that “some” of the attacks targeted military targets and 20% of the participants said that “half” of these attacks were military targets. This amount among the people of the Zionist regime was 13% and 14%, respectively. At the same time, only 5% of the participants in this survey said that all Russian attacks were aimed at military targets, and this figure was 18% for the Zionist regime.

According to UN reports, since the beginning of the conflict between Ukraine and Russia, more than 10,000 civilians have been killed, and more than 560 of them were children of both countries.

“Antonio Guterres”, the Secretary General of the United Nations, mentioned on Monday the number of dead in the Gaza war and strongly condemned the level of violence that the civilians in the region are facing from the Zionist regime.

The Zionist regime blamed Hamas for all civilian casualties and accused this group of using Palestinian civilians as human shields in the war with this regime in an unproven claim.

During this survey, 64% of the participants sympathized with Ukraine instead of Russia, and 39% supported the Zionist regime instead of Palestine. In addition, 37% of Ukrainian people believe that none of the parties involved in the Ukrainian war have won in these conflicts, and 26% have no opinion on this matter.
