According to the foreign policy group Tasnim news agency, Ali Gholampour, the new ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Kenya, on the eve of his departure to the mission site, met with Hossein Amir Abdulahian, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of our country, and while presenting a report on his mission, he explained the upcoming plans for the development and promotion of our country’s cooperation with Kenya. .
In this meeting, Amir Abdulahian emphasized the position of Africa and Kenya in the policy and approach of the Islamic Republic of Iran to develop cooperation with the developing countries of the south.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs also considered the implementation of the agreements between the presidents of the two countries, which was made during the recent official visit of the president of our country to Kenya, as a special priority.
Gholampour previously served as the head of the Department of Development and International Financial and Commercial Institutions of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, deputy permanent representative of our country to the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (Scoop), the representative of the Islamic Republic of Iran has served at the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons in The Hague and a member of the board of directors of the Global Climate Change Fund.
