– International news – Tasnim news agency quoted from Sputnik, Lavrov said on Monday that there is a rapid tendency to use national currencies instead of dollars among BRICS and SCO members. He added that alternative payment systems are rapidly being implemented in these institutions. Lavrov said in his speech at the Primakov international scientific and specialized meeting about the use of national currencies instead of dollars: “We have this issue. We examine it in the framework of BRICS and in the framework of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. Alternative payment systems are being implemented in earnest and the transition to national currencies is gaining momentum very quickly.”
