According to the report of the international group of Fars news agency, “Maria Zakharova”, the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, today (Monday) thanked the Hamas resistance movement for the release of Russian prisoners in the Gaza Strip.
Zakharova, while pointing to the exclusive agreement between Russia and Hamas to release a Russian citizen on Sunday outside of the temporary ceasefire agreement with the Zionists, said that this action shows the goodwill of Hamas.
Accordingly, the spokesman of the Russian Foreign Ministry stated: “We will continue to try to quickly release the remaining Russian hostages in Gaza in contact with all the parties involved.”
Zakharova also added that this action was carried out independently of the fulfillment of the conditions agreed with Qatar’s mediation between the Zionist regime and Hamas to exchange some of the Zionist detainees with Palestinian prisoners.
Today also “Anatoly Viktorov”, the ambassador of the Russian Federation in occupied Palestine, while pointing out Russia’s support for the humanitarian pause established in the Gaza Strip, said that Moscow wants this cease-fire to be permanent. (More details)
