| In a meeting with the Minister of Education of the Kabul Government, Iran's High Cultural and Educational Board met and discussed the educational situation of immigrants and bilateral cooperation in the field of education. |
According to the regional office of Tasnim news agency, the Supreme Council The educational culture of the country, headed by “Syed Mehdi Mostafavi”, a member of the Strategic Council of Foreign Relations, exchanged views with “Habibullah Agha”, the Minister of Education of the current government of Afghanistan, about bilateral cooperation in the field of education.
The Ministry of Education of the Afghan government also announced that in this meeting, the two sides discussed bilateral cooperation, the educational situation of migrant children, the transfer of Iran’s experiences in the field of education and bilateral cooperation.
The Iranian embassy added that regarding the education of Afghan children, especially the exchange of rich educational experiences of the Islamic Republic of Iran with the Afghan side, in order to provide a platform for students’ education, there was a constructive discussion and exchange of opinions.
This meeting took place while schools above the sixth grade and universities are still closed to girls in Afghanistan.
