Jordan: We are against occupying Gaza or creating a buffer zone in it
Referring to the country's opposition to separating the West Bank from the Gaza Strip, the King of Jordan said that the whole world should act to stop the war against Gaza. |
According to the report of Fars News Agency International Group, King Abdullah II of Jordan emphasized that the heinous attack of the Zionist regime on Gaza and its illegal aggression on the West Bank are in contradiction with human values and the right to life.
He also said that Jordan strongly opposes any attempt to separate the West Bank from the Gaza Strip and considers these two areas to be part of the unified Palestinian state.
Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman al-Safadi said the other day that the war in Gaza, known as the “Al-Aqsa storm”, did not start on October 7 and this issue was the result of the killing and occupation of the Zionist regime.
Before October 7, we have witnessed the bloodiest year in the West Bank, he emphasized: the killing and destruction that Israel is doing is not self-defense, but a war crime and mass murder.
Network Al-Jazeera news quoted the King of Jordan as saying that the whole world should act to stop the war against Gaza, support civilians and hospitals, and force the Zionist regime to end the siege.
The king of Jordan pointed out: Depriving the people of Gaza of water, food, medicine and electricity is a war crime that cannot be kept silent.
It is categorically against any scenario or idea that is based on the re-occupation of parts of Gaza or the creation of a buffer zone in it.
