American military plane crash in Japan

According to the report of Fars International News Agency, the Japanese news agency “Kyodo” announced the crash of an American military transport plane with eight passengers in the waters of an island in the southwest of Japan.

The Japanese Coast Guard announced that the Osprey plane crashed in the waters of Yakushima Island in Kagoshima Prefecture. The coast guard added that there is no information about the condition of the passengers and more details of this accident. Patrol boats and planes have been dispatched to search the area.

The Osprey plane has both the ability to take off and land vertically in the style of helicopters and the ability to take off and land short in the style of airplanes and is designed in a way which at the same time has the characteristics of a conventional helicopter and the ability to fly fast and long-range of a turboprop aircraft.
