He stated that based on the findings mentioned in the report of the Committee on Inalienable Rights of Palestinians (CEIRPP), the current unfortunate situation in occupied Palestine is a direct result of the occupation of the Zionist regime, which is actually the core of crises and conflicts in the Middle East region, he said: The report of the committee shows that before October 7 (Operation Al-Aqsa Storm), the number of Palestinian martyrs in the beginning of 2023 had reached the highest number since 2006. The Zionist settlers targeted the Palestinian people, including children. According to international law, such armed settlers who have directly intervened in the conflict with the support of the Zionist armed forces cannot be considered as citizens protected by humanitarian rights. Attempting to justify the crimes against the Palestinian people under the pretext of “self-defense” while ignoring the inalienable rights of Palestinians, including the right to self-defense, has no legal basis for the occupier, he added: In this regard, if one of the parties uses If it is the right of defense, the Palestinians will deserve it because their problems are first of all rooted in the occupation and the crimes of the Zionist forces during the years before the formation of the resistance of the Palestinian people in response to these crimes.

According to Irvani, the crimes of this regime should be seriously considered. The international community should be placed and the Palestinian people should be supported at the international level.
This senior Iranian diplomat added: It is time for the UN General Assembly to adopt its resolution 3379 (1975). to revive Zionism as a form of racism and racial discrimination. More than this, the Zionist regime should not be allowed to enjoy immunity from its crimes. This regime must be forced to implement its commitments, end the blockade of Gaza and the occupation, and support the formation of an independent Palestinian state, and in this context, accepting full membership of Palestine in the United Nations will be a priority.

Irvani noted: Currently, we believe that the most important and necessary priority is to extend the humanitarian pause in Gaza and turn it into a lasting ceasefire and send humanitarian aid to this region.
