A Hamas source: We are ready to extend the ceasefire for another 4 days

According to the report of Fars International News Agency, AFP quoted a source close to the Islamic resistance movement Hamas as saying that this group is ready to extend the ceasefire for another 4 days.

This resistance source added: Hamas has informed the mediators and negotiators that it wishes to extend the ceasefire agreement for another 4 days, during which this group is able to release the Zionist prisoners who are in their captivity and other groups and are resistance movements, according to the current ceasefire agreements.

This report added: Hamas has not yet officially announced this issue.

On Wednesday, November 29, the Zionist television network “Kan” announced in a report that there are efforts in Israel to extend the ceasefire after the end of two more days of the ceasefire.

“Yediot Aharonot” newspaper in another report quoted a political official of the Tel Aviv cabinet as saying: “If there is a proposal to extend the ceasefire for more than 10 days, we will consider it”.

Palestinian and Israeli sides on Monday night, November 27, on the fourth day of the first ceasefire, on the extension of this agreement in the Gaza Strip for two more days with the same conditions as before, i.e. a ceasefire in the field, exchange of prisoners and the arrival of aid. They have reached a humanitarian agreement.

The Hebrew newspaper “Haaretz” wrote today in a report about the opposition to the extension of the ceasefire: “Some Israelis fear that the long-term extension of the ceasefire will cause Hamas to have too much influence on the morale and the psychological state of the Israelis; Ultimately, Israel must decide between releasing more prisoners or preventing the Hamas federation from dictating a different spirit to Israel.”
