According to the Fars News Agency reporter in Tashkent, Uzbekistan President Shaukat Mirziyoyev participated in the launching ceremony of the power grid connection projects of a modern combined cycle power plant with a capacity of 1500 megawatts in Sirdaria province. /p>
Also, in this ceremony, the experimental production of “green hydrogen” took place in Tashkent province, which is carried out in cooperation with the leading Saudi company ACWA Power.
It should be said, the thermal power plant project in “Syr Darya” with a total value of one billion and 100 million dollars provides the possibility of supplying electricity to more than 3 million families and hundreds of industrial factories.
In addition Therefore, for the first time in the region, a unique factory for the production of “green hydrogen” will be created. In the framework of this pilot project in Uzbekistan, in the first stage, 3 thousand tons of hydrogen will be produced with further processing into mineral fertilizer and a wind station with a capacity of 52 megawatts will be built.
In general, with The participation of the Saudi company ACWA Power in Uzbekistan, large energy projects worth 7 billion and 500 million dollars are successfully implemented. which will save 4 billion and 500 million cubic meters of gas and reduce the emission of harmful gas in the atmosphere by 3 million tons. Central Asian countries, especially Uzbekistan, has increased, which shows the importance of the region for the Persian Gulf countries.
