He added: This project needs about 8 to 10 billion dollars of investment in the first phase, which will reach 20 billion dollars. About 3 to 3.5 billion dollars are needed for the railway. This transit route, called the Development Road, is shorter than the Middle East-India trade corridor that was announced by the US in September. Turkey hopes to get the necessary funds for this transit route from Faw Port in Iraq. to the borders of Turkey and then to Europe from the Arab countries of the region, including the UAE and Qatar.
