According to the regional office of Tasnim News Agency, “Bilal Karimi, the ambassador of the Taliban government to the Afghan embassy in Beijing, presented his credentials to Hong Li, the head of ceremonies of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
According to the announcement published by the Taliban, In a ceremony held on this occasion, while welcoming Karimi, Hong Lee called the appointment of the Taliban ambassador an important step in the direction of expanding relations between Afghanistan and China.
He added : China respects the national sovereignty and decisions of the Afghan people and does not interfere in Afghanistan’s internal affairs, just as it has not interfered in the past. He further stated: Beijing wants to help Afghanistan in economic and infrastructure projects within the framework of one belt and one road. He considered the country to be an important season and emphasized to the Chinese side: there is no threat against any country from Afghanistan, and stability and security in the region is in everyone’s interest.
