According to the regional office of Tasnim News Agency, Directorate of Information And Farhang Taliban in Nangarhar announced in an announcement that the “Torkham” border crossing has been closed to patients who do not have a visa by the Pakistani police since last night (Friday, December 10).
Previously, patients and their relatives were allowed to enter Pakistan without passports and visas after receiving a certificate from the Taliban Health Commission in Nangarhar.
However, local Taliban authorities have asked people who have the approval of the Health Commission to refrain from going to Torkham crossing “until further notice”.
