Iran rejected the baseless accusations of England

According to the foreign policy group of Fars News Agency, following the baseless claims of the British representative in the briefing session of the UN Security Council about Palestine against the Islamic Republic of Iran, Amir Saeed Irvani, the ambassador and permanent representative of the Islamic Republic of Iran, wrote a letter to the head of the council. The United Nations security and the secretary general of this organization strongly condemned and rejected these accusations.

The British representative claimed in the Security Council meeting that Iran through destabilizing activities and supporting Proxy groups such as Hamas, Hezbollah, and Islamic Jihad are a threat to the region.

This letter states: I would like to address the baseless accusations of the British representative against my country in the public briefing session of the Organization Security Council. I strongly condemn and reject the United Nations which was held on November 29, 2023 under the title of the situation in the Middle East, including Palestine. In his speech at this meeting, Mr. Tariq Ahmad, the Minister of the Interior of England, while ignoring the responsibility of his country in the current situation of the Middle East and destabilizing policies of England, tried to blame the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The said letter states: Undoubtedly, Britain has played a major role in the long-term suffering and unhappiness of the Palestinian people. The ominous roots of this tragedy can be traced back to the Balfour Declaration, which marks the beginning of nearly a century of hardship for the Palestinians.

Irvani noted in this letter: Britain’s continued and unwavering support for Israel’s genocidal crimes and aggressions against the Palestinian people and the countries of the region significantly reduce the moral authority of this country to pass judgment on the intentions and policies of others.
