The date of the Russian presidential election has been determined

This legislative body scheduled the Russian presidential election for March 17, 2024 (March 27) in its Thursday meeting.

He added that the decision on the holding of multi-day elections will be made by the Central Election Commission of Russia.

But the spokesman of the Kremlin said in response that Putin has not yet made a statement in this regard and the campaign has not been officially announced. He took over the presidency from “Boris Yeltsin” in 1999 and so far has had the longest presidential term in Russia since Joseph Stalin and even longer than the 18-year term of Leonid Brezhnev.

These sources claimed that the news of Putin’s decision has spread and his advisers are now preparing for the election campaign and Putin’s election. A Kremlin spokesman said in September that if Putin decides to run, no one will be able to compete with him.
