US representative for Afghanistan: We support Pakistan in the fight against terrorism

According to the regional office of Tasnim news agency, “Tom West, the US special representative for Afghanistan, announced the end of his two-day visit to Islamabad and announced that he had important talks with the foreign minister, the chief of army staff and Pakistan’s special representative for Afghanistan.
“West” wrote in “X” that during these meetings, they discussed “serious security challenges caused by Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan and also the protection of Afghan refugees”.
While Islamabad claims that Kabul supports the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Taliban and has warned against attacking Afghan soil, the US representative added: The United States stands by Pakistan against terrorism in the region.
West further stated: We are grateful for close communication with Islamabad on issues related to the protection of refugees, including cooperation with international organizations and humane and dignified treatment of them.
In spite of the reactions and criticisms of the United Nations, Amnesty International and other human rights organizations from deportation Afghan immigrants by Pakistan, Islamabad has accelerated the process of deportation.
