The spokesman of the current government of Afghanistan, in response to Hekmatyar's recent claim about the US request to the Taliban to form an inclusive government and to present a list to the Islamic Emirate, called it untrue. |
According to the regional office of Tasnim News Agency, “Zabihullah Mujahid”, the spokesman of the Taliban government, in response to the recent claim of Gulbuddin Hekmatyar, the leader of Hizb-e-Islami, regarding the US request to the Taliban to form an inclusive government and provide a list to the Islamic Emirate, he considered it untrue and denied it.
He wrote on his user account on the “X” network: “The claims of America’s words with the Islamic Emirate regarding inclusive government and handing over the list to the Islamic Emirate are not true. The Islamic Emirate has not promised anyone anywhere to build such a government. Hekmatyar Sahib’s words in this connection are not correct. The elders of the country should not say unsubstantiated and imprecise words.
Golbedin Hekmatyar, in his latest statement in Kabul, has claimed that the United States has requested the formation of an inclusive government by presenting a list to the Taliban government.
However, the Taliban and the US have repeatedly accused each other of violating the Doha Agreement.
