According to the report of Fars News Agency International Group, the Syrian Foreign Ministry in a statement condemned the US veto against the UN Security Council resolution whose main goal was to stop killing and crimes against the Palestinian nation.
This Saturday, the United States of America vetoed the UN Security Council resolution to establish an immediate ceasefire in Gaza. 13 council members voted in favor of this resolution. Britain abstained and the United States vetoed it.
According to Al-Mayadeen network, the statement of the Syrian Foreign Ministry states: “The American veto shows that this The country is not only a partner in the crime against Gaza, but also participates in the war against Gaza with the full cooperation of the Zionist regime.
In the statement of the Syrian Foreign Ministry, it is also stated: “Talking about the right of defense for Israel is the height of hypocrisy and in fact giving permission to continue killing.”
The intense attacks of the Israeli regime in Gaza after the Al-Aqsa storm operation on October 7 (15 Mehrmas) have led to the martyrdom of more than 17 thousand Palestinians in Gaza, most of whom are civilians.
These statistics are increasing especially with the expansion of the Israeli regime’s operations to the southern Gaza region.
The Islamic resistance movement of Palestine, Hamas, on October 7th, in response to more than seven decades of occupation of Palestine and nearly two decades of siege of Gaza and imprisonment and torture of thousands of Palestinians, started the operation known as “Al-Aqsa Storm”.
This operation was one of the deadliest attacks against this regime. Hamas fighters penetrated into the occupied territories at several points of the border fences, attacked the villages, and besides killing a large number of Israelis, captured a number of them.
