For many years, the energy authorities of the four countries of Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan and Afghanistan have been trying to implement the ambitious plan known as CASA-1000 to transfer electricity from the two countries. Central Asia is to Afghanistan and Pakistan.
Dalar Juma, Talibek Ibraif and Mohammad Ali, the ministers of energy of these three countries unanimously demanded the early start of commercial operations of this electricity transmission line. became inter-regional.
According to the press department of Casa-1000 project, the ministers of three countries want to facilitate the resumption of the construction of this project in Afghanistan, because without the participation of this country , the project loses its value.
This request is raised while the construction of the infrastructure parts of the Casa-1000 project in other countries is coming to an end.

The total cost of this project, which will bring electricity from Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan to Afghanistan and Pakistan, is estimated at more than one billion US dollars, and the necessary credits are provided by the World Bank, the Islamic Development Bank, and the European Investment Bank. And the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development is dedicated to this project.
