According to the report of the international group Tasnim news agency the spokesperson of the Ministry of Affairs Referring to the actions of the US Congress to put pressure on universities to prevent student protests against the brutal killing of Zionists in Gaza, the Foreign Minister of our country stated: The US Congress’s pressure is aimed at dismissing the presidents of several prominent universities in this country on the charge of spreading anti-Semitism, which has spread as a result. The students of these universities protested against the killing of the defenseless Palestinian people. It clearly shows that the Zionist lobbies in America have set up medieval inquisition courts in the 21st century America with the aim of censoring the crimes of the Israeli apartheid regime in Gaza.
Previously, in the congressional hearing on anti-Semitism, the presidents of three universities, Harvard, MIT and Pennsylvania, were questioned under the pretext of spreading student protests. Criticizing these presidents, Congress representatives demanded the adoption of policies to stop these protests in universities. The presidents of these three universities resigned after this meeting.
