According to the report of the international group Tasnim news agency quoting “NTV”, German Chancellor Olaf Schultz has called for persistence in Germany’s support for Ukraine.
He said at the conference of the Federal Social Democratic Party in Berlin: This war is not likely to end anytime soon. So it is important that we can do what has been necessary for a long time, which is to “continue to support Ukraine in its defense struggle.”
The German official said : With its invasion of Ukraine in 2022, Russia ended all understandings about peace and security in Europe. He added: “It should be clear that the borders in Europe will not be moved by force.” From next year’s presidential election, he said: Germany should even be ready to do more when others are weak. Therefore, there must be decisions on the German side so that we can do this.
Schultz also announced that Berlin is explicitly committed to providing more military support to Ukraine. . He emphasized: Russian President Vladimir Putin cannot expect us to surrender.
Schultz also discussed the economic consequences of Russian imperialism – for Germany and even more for It pointed out to some other countries.
The German Prime Minister pointed to the high price of energy and said: We know that there have been consequences that have affected us as well. He stressed that the government has nevertheless been able to ensure good energy supply, even if it is of course “a big financial challenge”.
