According to the report of Fars News Agency International Group, “Abdullah II” King of Jordan warned about the violence of the Zionist settlers towards the Palestinians of the West Bank and the consequences of the continued aggression of the Zionist regime against the Gaza Strip.
Different areas of the West Bank witnessed the arrival of Israeli soldiers and clashes with residents in the early hours of today (December 19). Several Palestinians were injured and some were arrested.
The city of Tubas, in the north of the West Bank, witnessed the most intense clashes in the morning hours; Local sources said that a large number of Israeli soldiers entered the city with vehicles, personnel carriers and bulldozers, and a fierce conflict began between them and the resistance youth. Abdullah II and Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte discussed the situation in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip over the phone.
In this statement, it is stated that Abdullah II warned about the violence of the settlers against the West Bank Palestinians and said that the continuation of this situation will cause the situation to get out of control.
According to the report of the Jordanian website “Ammon”, the King of Jordan emphasized the need to increase humanitarian aid to Gaza in order to reduce the effects of the suffering of the residents of this region.
Abdullah II also emphasized the achievement of a just solution for the Palestinian issue based on the two-state solution.
In this phone call, the two sides also discussed bilateral relations and the importance of continued coordination on issues of common concern.
Since the beginning of the war in Gaza, the West Bank has also been on the rise, and there is not a day when a conflict between Israeli soldiers and Palestinian youth does not occur in some part of this area. According to the latest statistics, 274 people have been martyred and 3,300 others have been injured in the West Bank since October 15 (the beginning of the Al-Aqsa storm battle).
