According to Webangah News quoted by Tasnim News agency, the Republic of Azerbaijan exports gas to Serbia as the seventh customer started its European.

Azerbaijan started exporting gas to Europe in 2020 and now, apart from Georgia and Turkey, it also supplies the European countries of Greece, Italy, Romania, Bulgaria and Serbia with gas. Aliyev announced: Azerbaijan will export 24 billion cubic meters of gas this year, half of which will be delivered to five European customers, and this figure will double in the next few years.
According to the agreement signed between the European Commission and the government of Azerbaijan in the summer of last year, Azerbaijan will increase gas exports to European countries to 20-25 billion cubic meters by 2037.
