According to the report of Fars News Agency International Group, Kataib al-Qassam, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), targeted Tel Aviv and its surrounding areas with a missile attack this afternoon (Monday).
The military branch of Hamas announced in a short statement that the missile attack on Tel Aviv was carried out in response to the bombing of Palestinian civilians in Gaza.
Israeli sources reported moments later. The Iron Dome defense systems have fired 10 rockets to intercept rockets fired from Gaza. According to reports, rocket shrapnel hit Tel Aviv and Rishon Letzion, and one of the rockets directly hit a building in Holon (south of Tel Aviv) has been hit.
Arab48 news site, quoting Israeli sources, reported that heavy damages were caused as a result of this attack and one person was injured.
Kataib al-Qassam, today, also announced in 2 short statements that the Israeli soldiers’ gathering place in “Al-Mahta” area in the city of Khanyounes (southern Gaza) with mortars and 2 Israeli Merkava tanks in the north of the same city with Yassin rockets 105 targets have been attacked.
