The US Department of Treasury announced the imposition of sanctions against Kyrgyz and Tajikistan companies due to the supply of sanctioned goods to Russia. In total, the sanctions list includes more than 150 people and legal entities.
According to this ministry, “Weitmann Handeln Allianz” company based in Kyrgyzstan provides logistics and customs clearance services. Offers to foreign customers.
The sanctions also include Tajikistan-based Kafolati Komil, which US officials say sent foreign-made aircraft parts to Russia through the UAE.
The United States believes that the company, with the support of the Russian military-industrial complex, sent hundreds of shipments to Moscow, including automatic data processing devices and disk drives. This activity helps to circumvent the sanctions against this country and also to increase the energy supply potential and export capacity in the future.
Being on the sanctions list means freezing assets in the United States and prohibiting US citizens or companies from doing business with related individuals.
