About 100 attacks on American soldiers in Syria and Iraq

An official in the US Ministry of Defense announced that during the last two months, the country's military bases in Syria and Iraq have been targeted by attacks.

According to the report of Fars News Agency International Group, an official in the US Ministry of Defense (Pentagon) announced that the country’s military in Syria and Iraq, from October 25th to December 22nd, were the target of drone and missile attacks 97 times.

He stated that the American bases in eastern Syria were attacked three times yesterday, and claimed: Our forces in Syria and Iraq repelled most of these attacks.

A US military official recently said that US forces in Iraq and Syria were targeted at least 5 times on Friday, 3 of which were at US bases in Syria and 2 times at Ain al-Assad base in Syria. It happened west of Baghdad.

Since the middle of October, the resistance forces in the region have started their attacks on American bases because of this country’s support for the killing of Gazans by Israel

Al Hamidawi emphasized: “Until Iraq is liberated, the confrontation with the occupying forces will not stop, and this decision no matter how many casualties it causes, we will not deviate from it”.
