According to the Fars News Agency reporter in Dushanbe, the European Bank has started the reconstruction and development of a program called “Youth in Business”, which foresees the allocation of 200 million euros for young entrepreneurs in the Central Asian region.

This program is designed with the aim of better access to finance and related training for young entrepreneurs in the Central Asia region, where about a third of the population is young people from 18 to 34 years old.
Up to 20 partner financial institutions from Central Asia and Mongolia will participate in this project, which will be financed for subsequent loans.
Investments The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development will act with a package of up to 30 million euros in grants and joint financial assistance to encourage lending and entrepreneurship to young people. According to the research of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, about 47% of all small and medium businesses are related to young people up to the age of 35. However, many of them do not have access to equal economic opportunities. Only 10% of young people in the region have access to the necessary training and professional experience.
